Streaming any audio—even 100% royalty-free music—from a personal account in a public, commercial space may technically violate the user agreement of that specific platform.

3. User Responsibility

It is the sole responsibility of the business owner (the user) to ensure that their chosen method of playing the music complies with the Terms of Service of their respective streaming platform and local broadcasting laws. If you wish to completely avoid any potential platform-related rule violations, we highly recommend downloading our tracks and playing them via an offline, local media player.

4. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Music For Shops, its owners, creators, or affiliates be held legally or financially liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Fines or penalties issued by local authorities regarding your playback equipment or methods.
  • Account suspensions, bans, or warnings from third-party platforms (e.g., Spotify, Google, Apple) due to Terms of Service violations.
  • Any other legal disputes arising from the use of personal streaming software in a commercial space.

Our guarantee covers the legal copyright status of the audio tracks themselves. We do not and cannot guarantee your compliance with the legal contracts between you and third-party software providers.

5. Intellectual Property and Strict Prohibitions

While you are fully permitted to use our music as background audio in your physical stores and social media advertisements, you do not own the master rights to the tracks. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Re-uploading: You may not re-upload our music to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, or any other streaming platform.
